“Amret Sangkranta 2026” Linked with Gratitude to Frontline Armed Forces

Apr 10, 2026

On the occasion of the Khmer New Year 2026, Amret Microfinance Institution organized the “Amret Sangkranta” program, which was meaningfully connected with expressing gratitude and providing support to frontline armed forces who are carrying out their mission to protect national sovereignty along the borders.

The program was held in the presence of local authorities, military commanders, officers, soldiers, and various stakeholders. Representatives from Amret also participated, led by Ms. Lim Sophea, Chief Operations Officer, and Mr. San Chanrasmey, Head of Human Resources, representing the CEO of Amret Microfinance Institution.

As part of its social contribution and in recognition of the frontline armed forces during the Khmer New Year, Amret’s management provided donations including essential food and daily supplies, along with financial support totaling approximately 33 million riels to the frontline troops.

This charitable activity is not the first time Amret has reached out to border areas to engage in social initiatives supporting both the armed forces and local communities living in difficult conditions. Such efforts reflect the institution’s strong commitment to contributing to social development and strengthening national unity.

At the same time, Amret continues to organize Sankranta celebrations at its headquarters, regional offices, and branches nationwide, aiming to preserve and promote Khmer cultural traditions, ensuring they remain strong and are passed on to future generations.
