Bank transfer is charged as follows:
- 4,000 Riel service fee for the amount <4,000,000 Riel
8,000 Riel service fee for the amount from 4,000,000 Riel to 20,000,000 Riel
- Service fee 12,000 Riel for the amount> 20,000,000 Riel

How much fee to transfer money from Amret account to Wing or PIPay account?

Transfer money from Amret account to Wing account:
- Free for 2,000,000 Riel or $500
- $ 0.5 service fee for the amount> 2,000,000 Riel or $500
Transfer money from Amret account to Pi Pay account:

How much fee does transfer from Amret Mobile to an ATM?

Transferring money from Amret Mobile to ATM is free of charge. Maximum amount for ATM withdrawal:

What are the required documents to open a Savings Account?

To open a savings account, you need either one of the following documents:
1. National ID card
2. Passport
3. Driver's license
4. Civil servant ID card
5. Family book (with photo)
6. Certified letter issued by local authority

Is interest from savings account subject to tax?

Interest from a savings account is taxed at the following rates:
- 6% for Cambodian Resident​
- 14% for Non-Resident

Can I close my savings account before the maturity date?

Yes! You can close your savings account before the maturity date.

Can I close my savings account at a non-home branch?

Yes, you can! Account closure at a non-home branch is subject to a $3 service charge. However, if your home branch is in Phnom Penh, you can close your account at any branch in Phnom Penh free of charge.

Can a foreigner open a savings account? What are the required documents?

A foreigner can open a savings account. The required documents include a passport and the certificate of residence/workplace.

Can a joint account be withdrawn by one person?

The option to withdraw money by one person is available only for customers who enabled this criterion during the account opening.

1. At any Amret's branch, Monday to Friday (except for public holidays), 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Is there any fee for issuing an ATM card?

No! ATM card is totally free. However, you are required to make an initial deposit of KHR 20,000 or $5 for the green ATM card and KHR 200,000 for the Gold ATM card.

Is there a monthly fee for the ATM card?

The monthly fee for an ATM card is as follows:
- Green ATM card: 1,000 KHR

What should I do if I lost my ATM card?

Please contact our contact center to report your lost card. You can request a new ATM card at your home branch.

What should I do if I lost my ATM password?

You can request a new password by contacting our contact center via 093 999 111 / 023 999 033. The fee is 1,000 KHR.

Can I use my Amret's ATM card to withdraw money at other banks' ATMs?

Yes! You can make cash withdrawal at any bank's ATMs with the CSS (Cambodian Shared Switch) logo.

What is the daily limit for cash withdrawal from ATM?

The daily limit for cash withdrawal from ATM is as follows:
- Green ATM card: KHR 4,000,000 or $1,000

Does every Amret's branch have ATM?

Currently, Amret's ATMs are available in main provinces and cities such as:
- Branches in Phnom Penh: Bak Tuk, Mao Tse Tung, Choam Chao, Heng Ly Market, Kandal Market, Psa Doem Thkov, Tek Thla, Toul Tumpong, Steung Meanchey, Chhuk Meas, Boeng Keng Kong, Toul Kouk.
 - Branches in Provinces: Sihanouk Ville, Somrong Tong, Kampong Cham, Soung, Battambong, Kampot, Kampong Chhnang, Siem Reap, Ta Khmao and Steung Sen.

What are the Bakong Services available on Amret Mobile App? 

You can make the following Bakong transactions on Amret Mobile:
1. Transfer money from your Amret saving account to Bakong Wallet 
2. Transfer money from your Amret saving account to participating Bakong members saving account. 
3. Scan to make payments with Amret KHQR merchants or participating Bakong members KHQR Merchant. 

How much can I transfer per transaction and per day from Amret Mobile with Bakong Service?

Can customers transfer money from other banks to Amret through Bakong?

Yes, customers can transfer money from other banks account to Amret saving account via any participating Bakong member Mobile App.  Saving with Amret will earn higher interest rate. 

Which banks can I transfer money to via Bakong?

You can transfer money to any Bakong participating member. For more information about Bakong member, please visit this link https://bakong.nbc.org.kh/ 

In order to be able to operate Bakong through Amret Mobile, do customers need to have a Bakong Wallet firt?

Customers can make Bakong transactions through Amret Mobile without the need for Bakong Wallet. Customers can transfer money and pay from their Amret savings account directly.

What should the customer do if the transfer through Amret Mobile or Bakong App to wrong account number, over amount or transaction is not successful?

Customers must contact customer service to inform the issues and the details of the transaction. The duration of complaint resolution is within 2 business days.

What should the customer do if the KHQR payment via Bakong App or Amret App is successful but the merchant does not receive the money or pay wrong amount?

•    In case of wrong amount and customer not yet leave the shop, customer can negotiate with the shop owner to resolve the issue.
•    In case customer leaves the shop, customer can contact the seller by phone to negotiate.
If the seller cannot be reached via phone call, then customers can contact Amret customer service at 023 999 033 or 093 999 111 to support solving the issues. The duration of complaint resolution is within 2 business days.

What is Bakong KHQR?

Bakong KHQR is a standard QR Code for all financial institutions where Bakong participating members can scan and pay using Mobile App.
Example: Amret KHQR merchant, allow customer to use Amret Mobile App or other Bakong participating members Mobile App for payment settlement. KHQR Merchant of other Bakong participating members can also receive payments from customers who use Amret Mobile to scan and pay.
