Phnom Penh: Amret Microfinance Institution proudly participated in the “Sustainable Food Agriculture Conference 2026” under the theme “Enhancing Low-Carbon Rice Production: Empowering Smallholder Farmers through Digital Technology and AWD”, held on March 27, 2026, at Novotel Phnom Penh BKK1.

The conference aimed to promote Cambodia’s agricultural sector, strengthen the rice value chain, and enhance the quality of Cambodian rice for international markets. The event received strong support from key partner institutions, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Rural Development and Agricultural Bank.

The conference brought together approximately 150 participants, including representatives from relevant institutions, experts, and stakeholders, to share knowledge, experiences, and innovative solutions for promoting sustainable rice production and improving resilience to climate change.
