Siem Reap, January 18, 2026: Amret continues its strong commitment to preserving, developing and promoting Cambodian national literature by participating as a Diamond Sponsor in the 3rd “Angkor Dictation Competition” held on the West Bridge of Angkor Wat on January 18, 2026.

The event had a total of 1,860 contestants, a significant increase compared to the previous two years. This increase reflects the broad support from the Cambodian public, especially from the younger generation, who are increasingly interested in and appreciate Cambodian national literature.

The “Angkor Dictation Competition or Somnae Angkor” program is an annual elocution competition organized with the aim of promoting Cambodian literature, focusing on the theme of “Angkor Sites”.

The main objectives of the program include:

• Promote Khmer literature, promote the use and understanding of Khmer literature

• Preserve national culture by connecting the art of Khmer writing with the historical heritage of Angkor

• Promote community participation by providing opportunities for citizens to participate in annual cultural activities
