Phnom Penh, August 16, 2025 – In the spirit of national solidarity and support for the Royal Government of Cambodia, Amret Microfinance Institution reaffirms its commitment to providing aid to its customers, especially injured soldiers.

On July 31, 2025, Amret announced the complete cancellation of loan debts amounting to 51,789 US dollars for two fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defense of Cambodia’s territorial integrity. In addition to this debt relief, Amret provided financial assistance of 5 million riels per family to help alleviate the financial burdens faced by their families.

On this occasion, Amret continues its efforts by canceling the loan debts of another injured soldier, totaling 9,666,200 riels and 8,437.50 US dollars. This soldier is also receiving treatment at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital.

Amret would like to express its deep appreciation to the medical team for allowing its representatives to visit and provide financial support to 14 injured soldiers currently hospitalized at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital.

All Amret employees honor the tremendous sacrifices and bravery of all Cambodian soldiers who protect the nation’s integrity and ensure its security.
