Kratie Province - May 16, 2025 - Amret is thrilled to participate in the “Riel Day” program organized by the National Bank of Cambodia in Kratie Province.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the reintroduction of the riel, and Amret is proud to contribute to the promotion of “Riel Day” alongside the National Bank in Kratie and plans to extend its efforts to other provinces as well. The program aims to educate the public about the advantages of using the riel within the existing banking system and to encourage its use in digital transactions.

The program is being held on two occasions this May: on May 16, 2025, at the Department of Culture and again on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Techo Santephap Square. Attendees will have the opportunity to exchange old, torn, and damaged riel banknotes for new ones at no cost. The event will also feature an exhibition and a concert.
